19-23 OCTOBER
HOSTED BY DICK AND CONNIE BONN
The reunion was held at the Honeysuckle Inn - same place as the 2002 reunion. Some 50 shipmates, spouses, widows and guest of shipmates attended the reunion. Events included a memorial service, a lunch and show on the Branson Bell, a winery tour by the wives and a banquet on the last night.

The Memorial Service was held on the grounds of the Branson Bell showboat and included an Honor Guard furnished by the Korean War Veterans Association, Harry S. Truman Chapter. Dick Bonn, our reunion host, led the service which included the Pledge of Allegiance, a short service, the reading of the Names of Deceased Shipmates, "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes, TAPS, and all joining in to sign "God Bless America.

After the service we boarded the Branson Bell Showboat for dinner and a show - itd was enjoyed by all. Especially Bill Miller who became a star of the show during the magic act.
The tour of the Stone Hill Winery by the Ladies of the Merrick was a big hit. The ladies sampled several wines (not enough to require designated drivers) and returned to the Honeysuckle with wine to take home.

Three "Plank Holders" attended the reunion: Dale Mathews, Scotty McPherson and Bill Middlesworth . Bill has attended all the reunions to held to date - going back before New Orleans in 2001. He is pictured here being presented with his Certificate of Recognition as a Plank Holder.
A great time was had by all and plans were made to hold the 2004 reunion back in Branson 17-21 October to be hosted by Steve and Corien Paul.
